Targeted Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (tTMS) is a non-invasive treatment that can improve the symptoms of depression .

tTMS uses magnetic pulses to stimulate the neurons in the brain related to mood and anxiety, where communication between them is either overactive or underactive.

It’s medically safe, recommended by the National Institute for Health and Care Excellence (NICE), pain-free and can deliver effective results within two weeks.

Side effects are uncommon and, where they do occur, are very mild.

The treatment is delivered by our partners, TranQuality.

How can I access Targeted Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation?

We accept referrals from members of the public as well as healthcare professionals.

If you’re registered with a GP in North East Lincolnshire, you can access tTMS for free through the NHS. We also offer privately-funded treatment, with a standard course of five targeted TMS sessions priced at £1,900.

Download a referral form, complete and return to the details included on the form.

If you would like to find out more information about tTMS to decide if the treatment is right for you, call (01472) 503150 between 9am and 5pm, Monday to Friday.
