Social care providers Ace Homecare, Care4All and NAViGO Extra will unite to form new registered charity Nurtrio.
The new company will offer a diverse range of health and social care services within the local community and employ more than 270 staff as a new NAViGO subsidiary.
Following a thorough due-diligence process, the boards of Care4All and NAViGO passed the confirmatory vote, giving the green light to launch in April 2022.
The innovative charitable organisation will specialise in supporting a broad range of vulnerable people including individuals with mental health conditions, older people and those with learning disabilities and complex needs.
Continuity of care will continue with service users seeing the same familiar social care professionals while existing services will be retained including the provision of the popular Meals on Wheels service and domiciliary care support.
NAViGO chief executive Simon Beeton said: “I’m really looking forward to officially welcoming Nurtrio to the NAViGO family, building on the strengths, skills and experience of all three organisations.”
Nurtrio chief executive Jo Barnes added: “Supporting the needs and improving the health and wellbeing of local people and the wider community is our key focus, particularly after the last couple of years.
“We know that together, we can make a real difference to more people’s lives, provide high-quality services and support a broad range of people while retaining the personalised approach that will continue to make Nurtrio services so special.”
The new subsidiary will further increase the breadth of support provided by NAViGO.
