The impact from COVID-19 has been and continues to be significant across all aspects of people’s lives.
The past year has been particularly challenging for health and care workers, who are experiencing unprecedented strain from the impact of the virus.
It’s important that, like the general public they also look after themselves during this time and seek support if needed.
Humber and North Yorkshire Health and Care Partnership are launching a new Resilience Hub that will be open to all health and care staff across the Humber and North Yorkshire area who are struggling with the impact of COVID-19.
The Humber and North Yorkshire area consists of: Hull, East Yorkshire, York, North Yorkshire, North Lincolnshire and North East Lincolnshire.
The service will be completely confidential and will offer advice and support that can help people with a range of issues from emotional wellbeing to bereavement, debt, domestic violence and relationship issues.
Whilst the Resilience Hub is launching in the New Year, the partnership is providing interim psychological first aid and support to existing occupational health and wellbeing services, where a need is identified. Additionally acute Trust and care home staff, who are experiencing a common mental health problem related to COVID-19, also have priority access to local talking therapies services in their area. Details of local talking therapy services can be found here.
